Anchorage Areas...
The anchorage area is located along the eastern
shore line. Boats are not permitted to anchor
inside the mooring area. The mooring area is
clearly marked with white and orange
buoys.
If you will be anchoring inside the harbor you will
need to stay 500 feet of the
shore. There is approximately
9-15 feet inside the anchorage area depending on where
you anchor. While the harbor is protected from
the summer's prevailing southwesterly breezes, the
harbor is very exposed to winds from the north.
Anchoring out side this area is prohibited and
discouraged by local law enforcement. Gaining
access to the anchorage area is quite easy and you
should not have any problems.
